LANCASTER, PA., (August 14, 2019) – Explore Retirement Living (ERL), a collaborative effort of 18 Continuing Care (CCRC) and Life Plan retirement communities located in and around Lancaster County, Pa., is excited to announce it will be hosting its 9th Annual Open House on Saturday, October 19, 2019.
With its low cost of living, beautiful scenery, ample arts and entertainment, community services, high-quality healthcare, and more, the Lancaster County region is a great place to retire. To help new and soon-to-be retirees get a feel for some of the best retirement living options in the area, ERL will host its open house between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Visitors will be able to tour any of the 18 communities to look around, ask questions, and—of course—have fun.
To make the most of the event, ERL suggests planning on which communities you would most like to visit since you’ll likely spend 1 to 2 hours at each site. Food and beverages will be provided at most of the communities, so bring your friends and family to help make any important decisions during the open house. ERL also suggests wearing walking shoes since you’ll likely be touring the facilities and asking plenty of questions.
“We really love showing families the many benefits of living in a CCRC or Life Plan community to help them find one that is the best fit for them,” says ERL Committee Chair, Amanda Hall. “This is the ninth year that we’ve held this open house, and it’s been a great collaborative effort, so we’re excited for another successful year.”
